BATTING
CAGE
- There
must be someone 9th grade or older
inside the batting cage any time it is being
used.
- If
approved from the school or Parks & Rec, you can use their
pitching machine in the batting cage. You must first be trained on how
to use the machine from your coach, and you must setup and return the
machine to the storage room when finished.
- If
the pitching machine is not working, please notify a CWC Team Member.
Pitching Machine
With safety as the main
focus, a machine that uses
softer balls was purchased for use in the batting cage.
Equipment is available for your use located west of the batting cage or
you may bring in your own personal equipment if you choose.
The CWC pitching machine will only throw Lite Flite Balls.
This particular pitching machine is able to change the type of pitch it
throws (curve, slider, fast ball).
There are directions and rules for using the machine inside the batting
cage on an “A” frame sign.
