| New Hampton has been enjoying the wonderful resources of the Chickasaw Wellness Complex and we can now enjoy the beautiful TriMark Freedom Trail. The CHARACTER COUNTS! Task Force sponsored a Pocket Park located to the east of the building with six trail stops.
The Pocket Park is the starting point of the trail and provides a place for people to prepare for their walk, ride, or skate. It will feature a gazebo, sculpture, benches, bike racks and plantings representing the Six Pillars of Character. The six trail stops are themed around one of the Six Pillars of Character and include a cement pad, a bench, pillar, Character Counts sign, plants, and flowers all color coordinated. Donations from individuals, organizations, businesses, and memorials willhelp to complete and maintain the Pocket Park. A $500 donation will have a Donor Recogntion Plaque located at the Pocket Park.
