TriMark Freedom Trail
New Hampton has been enjoying the wonderful resources of the Chickasaw Wellness Complex and we can now enjoy the beautiful TriMark Freedom Trail. The CHARACTER COUNTS! Task Force sponsored a Pocket Park located to the east of the building with six trail stops.

The Pocket Park is the starting point of the trail and provides a place for people to prepare for their walk, ride, or skate. It will feature a gazebo, sculpture, benches, bike racks and plantings representing the Six Pillars of Character. The six trail stops are themed around one of the Six Pillars of Character and include a cement pad, a bench, pillar, Character Counts sign, plants, and flowers all color coordinated.

Donations from individuals, organizations, businesses, and memorials willhelp to complete and maintain the Pocket Park. A $500 donation will have a Donor Recogntion Plaque located at the Pocket Park.

If you would like to donate to the Character Counts Pocket Park, contact Linda Kennedy at l_kennedy@new-hampton.k12.ia.us or phone 641-394-3982.
